Illuminale - das sollten Sie wissen!
Das Lichtprojekt Illuminale ist gestartet. Sechs Leuchtsäulen stehen in jedem Ortsteil an markanten Stellen und symbolisieren auch jeweils die sechs Ortsteile der Gemeinde Illingen. Sie sind an die Beleuchtung der Straßenlampen gekoppelt und brennen so jeden Abend in stimmungsvollem Licht. Einmal die Woche, nämlich jeden Freitag, ist die erste große Illumination an der Burganlage zu sehen. Mit Anbruch der Dunkelheit bis Mitternacht verändern bunte Leuchten und Motivprojektionen den Burgturm und den Bergfried. Außerdem wird das Burgviereck in ein völlig neues Licht getaucht. Schreitet man über die Holzbrücke hin zur Burg findet man auch hier ein besonderes Ambiente ausgelöst durch Licht und Klang. Die Illumination im Burgpark besteht aus verschiedenen Motivsequenzen, so dass man im Laufe des Abends immer wieder zur Burg zurückkehren kann, um sie immer wieder aus einer anderen Perspektive zu sehen. Die Geschichte der Burg Kerpen und ihrer Bewohner wird anhand von Lichtinszenierungen dargestellt. Das Projekt Illuminale läuft bis 2012. In jedem Jahr wird dann ein weiterer Ortsteil mit einer anderen Illumination an einer markanten Stelle hinzukommen.

Das Projekt Illuminale ist in das Programm Luxemburg und Großregion, Europäische Kulturhauptstadt 2007 aufgenommen worden. Die Aufnahme in dieses luxemburgische Netzwerk ist eine große Auszeichnung und gibt der Illuminale durch die Anerkennung auf europäischer Ebene einen wichtigen Schub für weitere Aktivitäten.

Illuminating project Illuminale has started
The illuminating project Illuminale has started. Six glowing steles stand on striking places in each of the six districts in the borough of Illingen. Each single stele symbolizes one of the six districts of Illingen. The steles are linked with the street lamps and start to shine when the lamps do. So they burn with an atmospheric light every evening. Once a week, every Friday, the first great Illuminale can be watched at the ruin of the old castle. From dusk till midnight colourful lights and projections with motives are totally changing the castle’s tower and the keep. In addition the castle’s square is set into a new light. Walking over the woodden bridge towards the castle, one can feel a special mood evocated by light and sound. The illumination in the castle’s park consists of different sequences with motives so that one can return to the castle during the evening and always experience a new perspective. The history of the castle and its people is told by special projections. The project Illuminale runs until 2012. There will be added more projections on striking places each year in each single district.

Le projet Illuminale a commencé. Six stèles ont été mises sur des places spéciales dans chaque quartier de la commune. Une stèle symbolise un certain village de la commune. Les stèles sont liées aux lampadaires et ainsi elles éclairent en lumière atmosphérique chaque soir. Une fois dans la semaine, chaque vendredi, on peut regarder la prémiere grande illumination au château. De la lumière en couleur et des projections à motif changeant le tour du château et le donjon entre crépuscule et minuit. En plus le quaré du château est totalement mis dans une nouvelle lumière. Si on traverse le pont de bois en direction du château on trouve ici une ambiance très spéciale evoquée par la lumière et le son. L’illumintaion dans le parque du château consiste en différentes séquences motiviques. Donc, on peut retourner plus souvent au cours de la soirée et chaque fois voir le chateau d’une autre perspective. L’histoire du château Kerpen et de ses gens a été mise en scène par des projections de lumière. Le projet Illuminale passe jusqu’à 2012. Chaque année un village de la commune d’Illingen suivra avec une nouvelle illumination sur une place frappante.
